How to measure your ring size at home with a strip of paper
Not sure what ring size you wear? Measure your finger at home in two minutes with a strip of paper and a ruler, then send the measurement to ThreeTrees to confirm your size.

The right size makes a ring comfortable to wear, neither slipping off nor too tight. You can measure the circumference of your finger at home and send the measurement to ThreeTrees to match it to a size.
What you need
- A strip of paper about 10 cm long and about 0.5 cm wide (or a piece of non-stretch thread).
- A pen and a ruler with millimetre markings.
Four steps
- Wrap the strip of paper around the base of the finger you will wear the ring on, snug but not tight.
- Mark the point where the two ends of the paper meet.
- Lay the strip flat and use the ruler to measure from the end of the paper to the mark: this is your finger circumference in mm.
- Check: the paper must be able to slide over your knuckle. If your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, use the measurement that just fits over the knuckle.
Tips for an accurate measurement
- Measure at the end of the day, when your hands are warm: fingers are smaller in the morning or when cold.
- Measure two or three times and take the middle number.
- Wide bands fit tighter than thin bands of the same size; if you choose a wide band, let our staff know.
- Your right and left hands are often slightly different sizes, so measure the hand you will wear the ring on.
Sending your measurement to ThreeTrees
When ordering, write your finger circumference (for example "circumference 52 mm") in the Notes box. ThreeTrees will match it to a ring size and confirm when we call you. You can also book an appointment to be measured and try rings on in person at our store at 15 Nhà Thờ.
Want to see it in person? Book an appointment at the ThreeTrees store.
